CE Marking for Machinery

The 2006/42/EC Machinery Directive covers machinery placed on the market or put into service in the European Economic Area (EEA). The purpose of the regulation is to regulate the minimum criteria to ensure that the machines are placed on the market and put into service if they do not harm for human health and safety and not harm for pets and goods in some condition.

CE marking is affixed by the manufacturer to the machines that meet the requirements of the 2006/42/EC Machinery Directive. It is accepted that the machines with CE marking affixed are declared by the manufacturer to meet the minimum requirements defined in the regulation.

Machinery Directive covers machinery, exchangeable equipment, safety components, lifting accessories, chains, ropes and belts, detachable mechanical transmission devices, partially completed machinery.

In the field of Conformity assessment of machines, the following services will be provided by us:

- Issuance of EC Type Examination Certificate for machines within the scope of Annex -IV.

- Issuing Attestation of Conformity, TCF Examination and Tests for machines scope of not within Annex-IV

-Technical file conformity check

-Performing Electrical Safety tests according to EN 60204-1

-Making noise and vibration measurements

-Performing risk analyzes acc. to EN ISO 12100

-Conformity checks and reporting for machines in use, upon the request of OHS teams.

Our accreditation process continues within the scope of Vehicle Lifts (Annex IV Article 16) and Work Platforms for Lifting Persons (Annex IV Article 17).
